Legal Cashier

We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier for a permanent opportunity with a highly regarded law firm based in Witney, Oxfordshire.

A flexible approach, and an ability to work towards tight deadlines and on your own initiative, as part of a wider team, is essential.

Key Responsibilities and duties include:

• Helping process the firm’s billing.
• Producing statements of account for clients
• Credit control & taking card payments.
• Ensuring disbursements are captured and billed accurately and correct VAT applied.
• Purchase ledger
• Dealing with ledger queries

Person Specification

• Qualified to a minimum level of GCSE/O Level (5 x grade C or above including Maths and English)
• Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills
• IT skills
• Attention to detail is vital
• Capable of delivering excellent customer service
• Some experience of billing, credit control and an overview of legal cashiering functions is preferred for this role, although we welcome applications from individuals with a general accounts background or demonstrable interest in becoming a Legal Cashier.
• Willingness to undertake formal ILFM professional qualifications is essential.
