Legal Cashier
We are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier for a permanent opportunity with a highly regarded firm based in Chester
Duties will include.
- Checking payment and receipt requisitions and then allocating Client Bank account transactions to our practice management system and setting up on the bank for payment.
- Purchase Ledger processing to include the Input, coding, scanning, and processing of invoices, (and disbursements).
- Preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with suppliers as appropriate.
- Processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
- Handling searches including HMLR / HMCTS / Companies house etc.
- Resolving ledger queries and sundry transaction requests.
- Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations.

- Positive self-starter who can work on own initiative.
- Professional and courteous approach.
- Ordered, process led approach.
- Numerate with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in order to deal with both internal and external relationships.
- Proficient IT / Excel skills
- Previous Legal Cashier experience would be a distinct advantage.
